Crested Butte Music Festival
Experienced musicians and casual listeners will both find something to enjoy at the Crested Butte Music Festival. Musicians from all over the country come to Colorado for the month of July and put on show after show. Crested Butte is the ideal festival location as there is nothing more beautiful than music in the mountains.
The Music Festival presents a vast array of musical presentations and sounds. Available shows include orchestral and chamber music, opera, jazz, bluegrass, ballet and modern dance. There is a show almost every night in July and tickets are available individually and for real devotees there is a season pass. The festival opens with Music on Move, a bluegrass show which is promised to be a party. The closing act is one of the festivals prized operas, Mozart's Don Giovanni. Tickets are limited to this one of a kind festival that dedicates itself to featuring the music and art of our time.
