As a popular summer and winter destination and a very transient town, Crested Butte, Colorado has a large seasonal work force. With a growing population, however, more residents are finding year round jobs in the service and development sectors. Employment opportunities in tourism, including lodging, food service, tours and activities, are easy to come by where as jobs in more specialized fields may take a bit more effort and experience.
