Crested Butte Colorado Snowboarding

Enjoy the thrills of snowboarding in Crested Butte, Colorado. With 1125 acres of terrain and 2,775 feet of vertical drop, a snowboard will show you a good time on this wonderful mountain. If you are just learning, check into the mountain snowboarding school. If you have some experience on your board, make sure to visit the terrain parks.

Crested Butte has a few very popular terrain parks and pipes. Make sure you chose what features to use based on your ability, as ski patrol often calls these areas Trauma Parks. The Canaan Terrain Park is 2,600 feet long and is located directly under Paradise Lift. You will find a variety of jumps and rails.

The superpipe can be found above Forest Queen lift. The pipe is 55 feet wide by 18 feet high. The Kid's Park is just under Painter Boy lift. This is a great park for beginners with smaller jumps, tabletops, and rolls. It even has a mini halfpipe.

You can really find great terrain on all parts of the mountain. If you explore the terrain, make sure to stay within your limits.
