Crested Butte Kids Summer Fun

No matter what activity your child chooses, it will no doubt leave them with lasting memories of Crested Butte. From concerts to arts and adventure camps, your children will be so busy you won't ever have to worry about finding things to do.

The summer season in Crested Butte is full of fun kids activities, starting with a weekly concert series. Each Saturday in July, enjoy a concert for kids featuring great music and dancing. For a more interactive experience, there are 2 weeks of free art lessons in nearby Gunnison, where your child can explore literary, performance, dance, and visual arts. It culminates with a closing extravaganza at the end of July where children can show off what they learned. There is also a dance camp and theater workshops.

Don't forget about the great outdoor activities that will allow them to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Every Thursday evening in July, August, and September there is a bike race series for both kids and adults. It's a great way to share the excitement of mountain biking with your child, even if you're new to the sport.
