Most companies offer a variety of trips; tours vary in length as well as destination.  You can choose between short 1-2 hour rides the let you get back in time to go skiing, or you can choose a longer all day ride which typically includes lunch.

Dogs are not the only animals you will see while standing in the back of the sled or while nestled in the sled bag.  Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife such as moose and deer.  After a day in the sled, you'll have more respect and awe for those who travel 1,150 miles in the Iditarod race.
