Overview: The race is a perfect example of Crested Buttes play hard attitude and the local laid back atmosphere. The various courses wind through streets, alleys and trails around Crested Butte. Course lengths include 1k, 3k, 5k, 10k, 12k, 21k, and 42k so all ages and abilities are encouraged to race.  Participants and onlookers are welcome to wear costumes. Past years have featured Hot Dog Man, See Through Genie and mini cowboys and cowgirls. 

When:  February 3rd, 2018.

Where:  The Alley Loop Race begins and ends on Elk Avenue in downtown Crested Butte

Cost: Free to participants.

Details: All racer will receive a race bag, an Alley Loop t-shirt designed by a local artist, and free chili and beer. Skis and cash prizes will be awarded to overall winners and the racer who gets the exact median time.
