Although it is located in a remote area of the Rocky Mountains in the middle of Colorado, Crested Butte is easily accessible. Numerous major airlines offer direct flights and Denver connections into Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport. From the airport, you can take a shuttle into town. If you travel by car, expect the trip to take four hours from Denver and about the same from Colorado Springs. Once in town, take advantage of the local free bus service or use a taxi to get between points of interest and your lodging.
