Nudged up against the Rocky Mountains on the eastern plains, Denver is a bustling city with thriving attractions.

Location

Denver is located at the Interstate 70 and 15 intersections just under five hours northeast of Crested Butte.

Activities

The music scene is the best in the west with such famous locales as the Filmore, Ogden and nearby Red Rocks Ampitheatre.

Getting Here

From Crested Butte, leave town on 135 to the Highway 50 intersection in Gunnison. Go east on 50 to the 285 intersection. Take 285 north to Denver.

Bring a fly rod – the drive along 285 has some of Colorado's best stream fishing.
